Involvement
Planning from start to end took around 11 months to complete (January 2019 - November 2019).
- Updated participant management system from Eventbrite to a custom application database using Heroku and MongoDB with full-stack development from scratch.
- Reached out to local and international companies such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Government of Canada and more to secure 20,000 CAD+ in funding with sponsorship/involvement in workshops during the event.
- Managed social media/outreach, obtaining over 500 applicants for the event all over Canada, with a goal of 250 participants.
- Developed promotional assets for the event, created new brand identity for organization.
